Want a real barefoot wedding? Look no further.

Tippy’s and Pineapple Fields has long been a favorite spot for those looking to let their hair down, hang with friends and family, and say “I do” with sand like pink powdered sugar between their toes.

Frequently Asked Questions...

How do I get my guests to Eleuthera?
We suggest people travel to Nassau and then take one of the local commuter flights over to Governor’s Harbour which arrive three times daily. We can also provide information on charter planes from either Nassau or the States.

How do we get people around once they are here?
For large crowds, you can hire a 30 seat air-conditioned tour bus. Rental cars are also available; from compacts to SUVs.

Where can we hold the ceremony?
Ceremonies can be held on the beach in front of Tippy’s, or in town at a 19th century Anglican Church that sits by the Caribbean Sea.

Can we have more than 60 people at the reception?
Unfortunately no; maximum seating capacity is 60 and we need to make sure everyone has a dry seat in case it rains.

Where do I find help to put the wedding together?
Eleuthera is home to great florists, photographers, and bakers, as well as chair and arch rental companies. A Justice of the Peace or Clergyman can perform the ceremony and supply the required paperwork. We’re happy to provide information so you can make direct contact. Another option for some is to get legally married at home and have their ceremony on Eleuthera.

Do I get a discount on the rooms at Pineapple Fields?
We give a 20% discount when the reception is held at Tippy’s.

What kind of activities can we do as a group?
We can arrange excursions to private beaches, site seeing, bonfires on the beach, or an afternoon poolside barbeque. There is also bone-fishing, scuba-diving, horseback-riding and a world-renowned nature preserve in close proximity to the resort.

What is the deposit policy?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit of $5,000 at the time of booking.

How far in advance should I book my wedding?
We recommend booking no more than one year in advance, as the deposit is non-refundable.

When is the final count for the reception party due?
A final head count is due no later than seven days prior to the event.
